Bring it on Home…(camouflage—for ‘protection’)

Camouflage-for ‘protection’ AMN

Camouflage for protection. Immersive exceptions of space, easy convolutions, growth against portions, against count, the leaving scarcity of dust or inversion of daylight, senses, adore, senescence, the taste of the depth, coloring the sky, drinking sunsets outside, a window, recurb daylight for yesterday’s, For tomorrow. asking nothing, receiving nothing, convinced measure would help, sunk back to the trees, growing to timberline, soaking contrast, through their branches, beating pattern to ground, breaking up daylight, to clear spots of sun on the forest floor. Rises to condensing ache.
To clouds, to the soil, building in decay, to all that is buried without a name. Sunlight glances and discovers from the lowest sunken to the shallow surface, clover, covering shadows, the gray or blue defense lines hidden in the trees, telling us to worry about our own bodies, of war, of conflict, about our own ways of burying or killing. About the tender pine to witness these root systems, recognizing the nameless count.
Against all and any against them. What part of ourselves should die? Who else could we kill to make this right?
What control could imagine for freedom? What endless authority from phantom vanity procured the rights to murder today? This body of information, they know must belong to them.
Never hear. How many spaces and bodies could they possibly need to miss the entire forest for the size of one tree? Camouflage, for protection.
